MASTA Travel Clinic

We offer travel health consultations, vaccinations (including yellow fever), anti-malarials and travel related retail items.

Who is MASTA?

MASTA (Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad), was established 30 years ago and we now operate the largest network of private travel clinics in the UK.

We have well established partnerships with Independent Pharmacies, BUPA and STA Travel amongst others. Combined with our clinics based in NHS and Occupational Health establishments; we are growing faster than ever before.

An extensive number of locations combined with a variety of appointment times, ensure that our customers receive the vaccinations and anti-malarials required, at times and locations convenient for them.

Irrespective of how or where our customers receive their initial consultation, all travel clinics are registered yellow fever centres.

We are also able to offer last minute, Saturday and evening appointments.

Our clinical team constantly monitor disease situations and outbreaks across the world, bringing together health information from many sources and providing it to our own Nurse Experts and NHS clinics and surgeries. The result is that our award winning MASTA Travel Health Brief is widely recognised as an invaluable tool both to medical professionals and members of the public alike.

The MASTA Travel Health Brief provided for each individual traveller ensures they are fully aware of the additional health risks of travelling to their destinations as well as the vaccination requirements.

MASTA has supported over 1,000 companies and occupational health departments whose employees work or travel abroad. Our clients include the BBC, Rolls Royce, John Lewis partnership (which includes Waitrose), NHS, BUPA, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, The Metropolitan Police and The Ministry of Defence.

Masta Travel Health Tele-Consultation

Whilst many customers still prefer to receive a face to face consultation in clinic, we also cater for customers who prefer to talk through their requirements from the comfort of their home or office, before receiving their vaccinations or anti-malarials in clinic afterwards.

Travellers can book a telephone consultation with one of our specialist travel nurses prior to visiting a participating MASTA clinic or MASTA pharmacy to receive their vaccinations.

The consultation will take 15-20 minutes. A travel health nurse will discuss a person’s medical history including any medicines or allergies. Knowledge of your previous travel vaccines is useful. The nurse will discuss recommended vaccines and help decide whether your trip will also require malaria medication.

We will offer relevant advice on up to date issues in the countries you are visiting and answer any questions relating to your trip. The consultation will include discussion of potential health risks and your individual requirements. We will then make you an appointment for your vaccinations, subject to availability (which could be the next day).
